The Change of Daycares...

So, Ive been dreading this day well for a long while now, but I knew it was coming.
A long story short.... Throughout the journey of searching for the perfect daycare for my lil angel I went to about 15 total places! There were so many to choose from it was very hard to make a decision. We decided we wanted Peyton to go to school with his cousins (Andy's nephew's) at Campbell Christian School in Campbell. Although this is what we wanted, there were no openings at the time. Another school that I actually liked did have openings, and fortunately it was RIGHT next door! I was SO SO scared to start Peyton at Daycare, and yes I cried for about a week. After about one week, I quickly realized I made the best choice! Peyton's teachers are, in one word... Amazing. They care about their babies as if they were their very own children. The care, concern, love and affection that the both of those two teachers have for all the kids is wonderful!!! The day has come......
Yesterday was Peyton's last day at his school, and I was very bummed and stressed about the entire situation. When I went to pick up Peyton yesterday I just knew I was going to cry, but I told myself I need to keep-it-together. When I showed up, Ms. Karin gave me the poster they made for Peyton, it was beautiful- All the babies had their hand prints on it and Peyton's name was inside the Teddy Bear in the middle. All the teachers took the time to sign the poster too. My tears started.. and they didn't stop either. Ms. Karin was crying and telling me that she will really miss Peyton and to please promise to come back to visit! Ms. Maria said her Good-byes to "Papa" (as she calls him) too. Ms. Maria too was crying, telling him she loves him, and to come back soon!
If you've read this much, your probably starting to tear up too. If your a parent, then its probably hitting your heart even more. As you know, its very hard to find teachers or even anyone who cares about your child in the way that Ms. Karin & Ms. Maria do. I will miss them, and I KNOW Peyton will miss them even more!! I can't thank them enough for absolutely loving what they do!!!
The day started....... This morning I dropped off P at his new school, again I feel as if I was starting all over again as I did on March 4, 2009. I explained everything to his new Teacher, telling her everything that P liked and needed...its just so hard to swallow him starting over again.
I know he will be fine, and it'll take him some getting used to.
We will be visiting Ms. Maria and Ms. Karin tomorrow to bring them our usual "Holiday Treat"!!
P and I can't wait to see them!

Daddy's FIRST Father's Day

We celebrated Andy's first father's day this year on Sunday, June 21st!
Peyton and I woke up as usual at 5am. As daddy always does the morning bottle feeding, I decided since it was "Daddy's day"I would do the feeding and let Andy sleep in!
Peyton and I made some cinnamon muffins and finished up wrapping Daddy's gifts!
When Andy woke up he was surprised with a couple gifts and some cute Father's day signs hanging up! I believe he loved every present he got, the biggest gift of all.. Peyton himself.
Earlier in the week I took Peyton to have some professional pictures taken with some of his Daddy's belongings- they turned out amazing!! I was able to frame a few for Andy and some of the other family members. (Pics posted)
After breakfast and enjoying opening his presents I surprised Andy by what I though was going to be great- a ONE hour foot massage! It turned out to be a little to rough and not as great as the idea itself sounded :(
Andy took Peyton on a long hour walk in his jogger (while I got to take a cat nap).
We then headed up to Vikki & Dave's for the afternoon lunch and time with the family! We had a GREAT time as always up at their house.
I think overall Andy really enjoyed his First Father's Day, well at least I hope he did! :)

"You can take me out of Texas, but you can't take the Texas out of me"!

Our first official family vacation began....

We left San Jose on Thursday, May 28 early in the morning! We jumped on the plane along with Vikki and headed to Dallas. We were so worried about how lil Peyton was going to do on the plane but as usual he was the quite, mellow baby he usually is!
We stayed in Dallas visiting both Mema & Grandad until Sunday. During the Dallas stay we also got the chance to visit with other family & friends too! Andy got the chance to show me were he grew up, his home and school and the old sail boat too! We were having such a great time, and I was so happy myself to finally meet the friends of the family who Andy speak very highly of.
After a few days of fun, along came the Pearce Pandemic! Unfortunately this 24 hour virus took a total of 7 of us down! Ughhh! We were able to overcome the virus and HEAD to Austin & Gruene on Sunday!!
